Author: Lila Monroe
Series: standalone
Genre: romantic comedy
Rating: ****

Get Lucky is a really funny, really sweet and occasionally filthy romance. I read it in one sitting, and had more than a few proper laugh-out-loud moments. It was absolutely wonderful.

Curvy redheads were always one of my weaknesses. Even when they’re insulting me.

Although Nate and Julia were brilliant in their bickering and sizzling chemistry, I have to say that the award to funniest book character of 2016 goes to Meredith. The filth that came out of that woman’s mouth was just something else.

Damn. I was maybe gonna masturbate to him later. That dream is dead now.

I loved the nerdiness, I loved the chemistry, I really loved the characters, and I very much enjoyed a romance set over just 48 hours that so solidly cemented another fictional couple together.
