Review by Sheena

This was such an awesome, unputdownable novella….Michelle Horst really knows how to write about damaged and dysfunctional men and women who together metamorphose into something stronger and more beautiful….. .I fell head over heels in love with Mason Crowe who, despite his truly dark side, was capable of being so protective and gentle….

They say great things come in small packages and this book proved the point…..the main characters recounted the story and I found myself both absorbed in the development of their relationship, which was a satisfying combination of sweet, romantic and downright dirty, and moved by the tragic events that motivated their life choices……

A short story which packed a punch …. a perfect blend of light and dark……This novella was reviewed for Summer’s Eve Reads…
